Aid User Access to Information on Webpage?

Hello!

After having a three day break weekend (including Bank Holiday Monday), I have returned with a fresh mind ready to work. Over the weekends, I have spent time on my assignments, resulting in completion of the Merit criteria I have discussed on Friday. I have also spent this time in practicing my drawing skills for preparation.

This morning when I arrived at the center, I firstly spoke to my peers around me about the work and our progresses. I learnt that Ben R, Euan J, and Adam M are all slightly confused on what we need to write about in our assignments. I sent them my list I had written down when I made the notes from "Zoetic Zoe's" explanation from Friday and sent it to them. Shortly after, Brandon B arrived at my desk (bugging me) but also taught me how to add tags to my Gmail folders - this will make it more convenient for me as I no longer need to manually drag emails across everyday.

When the lesson started we did not have a starter which felt odd, but it was also preferred to some extent because "Zoetic Zoe" allowed everyone to crack on with their outstanding work. As I have finished, she told me to start making my website - which is a good use of time as it is in assignment four after all. With my lack of skills and poor understanding of this, I decided to go back to Code Academy and refresh myself with the basics.

A little while later, "Zoetic Zoe" began explaining the Distinction criteria (still in the same document of U28A3T2). This time, I were to discuss the techniques that can be used on web pages to aid user access to information. Throughout her mini-lecture, I proceeded to jot down useful notes as always. However, it was a lot to be covered (not surprised considering the grade it is worth!). I began to edit my introduction and began typing with the use of my text book and notes. By the start of lunch, I got a third done.

During the period of lunch, I went to play basketball as usual. My arms and legs don't tire as much as I have managed to gain slightly more endurance and stamina. As I played with Adam M and Sami H, eventually some strangers came in and so we moved to the other side of the court. There, I was practicing my shooting skills again - aware that my goal is to become a three point shooter as a hobby. Nearer the end of lunch, I managed to score three 3 point shots in a row, ending in 9 points!

Returning with a happy mood, I continued to work peacefully. Though I get distracted at times, I kept my head down and managed to get everything done by the start of independent study time. Once I completed the work, I went through what I did today and proof read everything - alongside this, I will also add any additional information wherever appropriate and necessary. Once I have proof read it, I will submit it either today, tomorrow, or Thursday.

Overall, today has been another concentration and purposeful day. I have not only managed to get my work done, but I have also learnt a lot from others and have helped others in return. (Liam taught me some tricks and tips on website production, heh). My main focus now is to return to drawing and will hopefully begin my webpage designing on Thursday onwards!

P.S: I will need to pay Catherine £11.50 for the ticket to the upcoming UCS taster day. I also had to clean.
