Website Production Growth!

Hello!

When I arrived at the center today, I firstly submitted the business proposal for beanbags to the "Amazing Adam" and Pete that I spent all night working on yesterday. Whilst at this time, I used the time before the first lesson to acquire any images from my phone to the desktop for my website later on.

Then the first lesson started. We firstly had the quiz that was meant to be yesterday's instead. The quiz was about computer hardware and its components. This meant that Gabe H has considered to get us warmed up and prepped for the upcoming and remaining unit. At the end of the long video quiz, Ashley P and Tom L got 8 out of 16, whereas Liam B got 15. Currently, the quiz maker is undecided at this time being as they have not yet had their battle of rock paper scissors. Whereas on the other hand, I got 10, woop! Lucky swoosh.

When the lesson started, I firstly checked my U28A4T1 and looked at the remaining things I have yet to check off on my checklist that "Zoetic Zoe" wrote for me. I firstly loaded up my website in two different types of browsers: Google Chrome and Fire Fox. Then I started to write about its compatibility and functionality. I found out that Google Chrome worked fine whereas Fire Fox had only slight small issues with the interactivity. This is because I used webkit and not moz - these are specific plug-in interactive elements for different browsers. I screenshotted this and documented down on my work.

Afterwards, I quickly went through my code and started to make the appearance look much more formal and readable. I did this by using indentation wherever possible, commenting on my code, and grouping many different chunks of code into similar classes and ID's of DIVS. I then separated them with white lines and this allowed me identify things easier. Furthermore, throughout the day I helped Sami H and he helped me in return. I managed to transform my website even further and enhance its overall appearance and interactivity, especially the images. I also made hyperlinks to some text and tick off the Scheme of Learning's checklist.

During lunch, me and Adam M did not go play basketball as Joe B left his ball in his car, which was locked. Instead, I played with Edward L on table football, and beat him in both games! woo! Since the table is fixed by "Jovial John" now, we should hold championships.

Returning from lunch, everyone continued with their work. For me, I remained to make a few tweaks here and there. I completed only one survey for Matthew B and made some social icons for my contact page. As my images were slightly pixellated, Sami H, the Photoshop guru taught me how to render my 3D extrusion layers to form a vector-based look. I learn so much from him I am genuinely thankful. Then eventually reaching the independent study time, I made a simple contact form that does not link to any .php yet as it is merely impossible with my level of intellect. I also helped Adam M clean as he was switched with another student (he was absent).

Overall, today has been an excellent day. A lot of work done. All that remain is to create the About Me page which shouldn't take long as it all it requires are images and some text. I will be sure to spend my weekend completing my website and starting to annotate it if possible. Then on Monday, I can start the distinction task.
