Today morning we reviewed the blog stars’ reflection and
took on aboard their helpful tips. (Joe and Adam's blogs), this will help us students
improve our grammar and English and with the purpose of blogging. Additionally, we
did an activity to distinct between ‘there’, ‘their’, and ‘they’re’ – then we
marked each other’s work out of 10. I understood the principle of the three
uses but it has certainly helped others who were confused.
Afterwards, the “Amazing Adam” talked to us about the D2 criteria,
this gave us an activity that split all of us into three groups of six, each
discussing about the topics: ‘discussion’, ‘evaluation’, and ‘conclusion’;
brainstorming all the ideas related to what it means and what it is in detail.
Lastly, the majority of students continued with their M2 assignment work. However, myself, Sami, Ben, Brandon, Alex, Adam, Matthew, and Gabriel worked as one large group discussing about the impact on file formats, compression techniques, image resolution, and colour depth have on file size and image quality. We shared our ideas and pinpointed out on A3 paper, which will eventually be photocopied so we can reference each other’s points when we type the D2 assignment. This was a fun activity as we can open up more and it improves social skills such as confidentiality, teamwork, team leading, and speech. I will be working on D2 tonight and tomorrow.
Overall, the day was focused because Billy got moved seats. The kitchen’s fridge had cold tomato soup that someone left for a day or two. The adventure of housekeeping has begun on us. And finally, we got our own “Level 3 milk” (which is half gone already).
