Danzio Pitches!

Fresh start off to a Monday!

Today is the day where I pitched my presentation about the readability of code for A2T1 - my weekend consisted of me mumbling to myself about the certain points I needed to talk about. I also spent my journey on the bus to think to myself too, it really woke me up in this fine, cold morning.

When I arrived to the center, the first thing I did was practice my presentation with Ashely P with Brandon B's assistance since he has finished. I then waited for break which is when I pitched my presentation. In the meantime, I practiced my drawing skills and waited patiently. Moreover, I also photo-shopped Adam M's face onto Kim K's new model cover as the meme's of her as it has become a trend recently.

Afterwards during break, I pitched my presentation with all of my confidence. I believe I have done very well but I have stuttered a bit - however, thanks to my 108 human skills I have obtained, I am able to improvise slightly and therefore I have corrected any potential mistakes I made along the way. I was confident around 95% of my presentation, I pitched and talked about the factors to what makes the readability of code readable as well as give examples to my audience (Brandon B, Ashley P and "Zoetic Zoe" who in the scheme of learning are referred to as 'trainee programmers', which is why I explained everything in depth and assumed no prior knowledge).

Moving on, "Zoetic Zoe" then told all of us to go onto VARK Questionnaire as this is related to A3T1 - we were purposely told to do this questionnaire to find out what kind of learning styles and methods intrigues each and individually of us the most. At the end of the questionnaire, I got:
My VARK Scores:
  • Visual: 8
  • Aural: 9
  • Read/Write: 10
  • Kinestethic: 8
Want to know your own learning style? Find out here at VARK's Questionnaire!

I was surprised at first that all of the numbers were quite high, this means that I am able and compatible to learn in different methods as well as my best one as I was unaware, which is reading and writing. I can confirm that. Moreover, kinesthetic means to be practical and get hands down. I am not really that type of guy but however I am that specific person when it comes to designing, playing building games, sandbox, and simulators, this is because I like to experiment around and design something brand new, innovating new ideas. (Most of this is needed for A3T1 and I will explain more reasoning there!)

This lead to "Zoetic Zoe" discussing about A3T1, where we need to create a leaflet/hand out/flyer/booklet to explain about different learning styles. However, whilst some people started on this task I spent my time creating a report about Brandon B's pitch in a word document for A2T2. At the end of the day, I managed to finish the report, my next steps are to proof read and then move onto A3T1 either tonight or tomorrow. In this case, my mind still has some shadows of confusion therefore I will take this self-study moment to ask "Zoetic Zoe" anything I'm unsure of.

As I waited to return home, as head boy I read other student's blogs and tried to help them when possible.

Have an eventful Monday to all of those tired morning people!
P.S: Today I am going to college my GCSE certificates from high school, yippee. :D
