Don't Give Up!

Hey all,

This morning we started with Thursday Quiz which Billy made during his sleep. He showed a YouTube video about a graduate designing levels for a game, her past and her aspirations. In total there was 10 questions, in the end I got 7 along with other people. We did rock paper scissors but I gave up and decided to volunteer for tribute to create next week's quiz. Soon later, "Jovial John" spotted that Chris M lied and got 6 marks, therefore he has to make the quiz. I was saved, but I did want to produce the quiz at least once before this year ends, but never mind - karma greeted.

Next, I asked "Zoetic Zoe" to run through the maintenance report with me as I was somewhat slightly unsure. Her explanations made sense and so I decided to put my work in chronological order. Firstly, I over heard Zoe explain to someone else that you can create as many pseudocode are possible, so I decided to create one more IF statement (decision).
IF Statement: Player Power Up (Invincibility)
Afterwards, I added more variable names by using the variables/constants currently from my platform game in Game Maker. I stated whether it was global or local, and thus gave the screenshot for evidence for declaration. I also mentioned what type of data type it is - mostly it is boolean and doubles as the variables can either be true or false, and is an integer/double to increase accuracy. Lastly, I gave a comment for each. This table was slightly harder to fill but I will be filing in more variables and constants as I produce my game along the way.

I then started the maintenance report, using what "Zoetic Zoe" said, I typed out a very long report regarding about the purpose of the game; the modularity; objects; data dictionary; and the systematic approach. I spent the rest of the day working on this as well as trying to debug my game. As a result, I did not finish the maintenance report (U22A2T1) but I will be completing this at home. Then I will direct all of my attention on improving the game. Additionally, the title of this blog is to not give up - I didn't give up even after lots of failed attempts to fix my game, but somehow I made it worse.

Lastly, I quickly made the changes and improved my work (U1A2) for resubmission. To achieve my criteria's, I amended the tasks and added a piece of evidence that was missing. This concludes my day as another extremely focused one. This is tiring me but Christmas is on its way for a big rest.
