Animation Completion! Happy Easter!

Easter break!

During today morning, the "Amazing Adam" has not arrived yet so Pete took over. We once again got straight onto work. This time, Matthew B should have been the leader of our group and lead us to completion as assigned yesterday by Adam, however he didn't do very well in my opinion as he just told us to "get it done" and that was it with but no directions, no motivation or task set. As a result, I took in charge as the leader one final time and gave a final to do list for everyone as well as updating the time plan.

Throughout the day, I went back and forth to keep pushing Matthew B to continue his written work as he gets distracted too easily as well as working on my part. This morning is not as stressful because my girlfriend helped calm me down before the day, however it was one of the hardest day as we require to synchronise the music with the animation at the end and this made pushed beyond my stress capacity. Firstly, I kept working on adding text to both the scenes at a high standard, afterwards I have also annotated on it to show evidence.

Nearer the end of the day, Matthew B left us incredibly earlier and contributed nothing to synchronising the animation. In addition to this, the music Matthew B exported earlier was done badly as the music crackles so me and Matthew T had to remake it (will mention it in my documentation). When we put the animation together, it was only a two man team. Me and Matthew T progressively got aggressive as we stressed out from lack of help and from its general difficulty. Soon, Adam stopped us and made us go for a run and this has helped calm us down. When we came back, he said our animation is at a great standard already and doesn't need to be touched any more. As tempting as I want to perfect all of it, I will take his word and stop so I can use any miscalculations for the evaluation to show that me and Matthew T considers strongly on improvements.

At the end of the day, we planned and distributed our work load with assistance with Adam. For Matthew T, he will be annotating his screenshots at home and I am aware he is capable of meeting deadlines, therefore I do not need to worry. He will also fill in his part of the dope sheet for the animation scenes he made in A3T3. However, as Matthew B left very early when he promised to stay till four, he also does not have Flash (though he could get trial like as I) and so Matthew T will be putting more work on himself. I thank Matthew T for being a supportive team member as he knows I can't take any more work on or I'd break mentally. On my behalf, I need to fill in the dope sheet too but only for my part, and then to double check any work and document down the remake of the music. When we come back from our holiday, Matthew B will be making the credits and tiles as he needs to contribute fairly.

Overall, today was stressful but a very progressive day. I am glad it is coming nearer to the end of the unit as I find a particular member very inactive, not to be harsh but honest only. It is also the end of the term and it is the Easter Holidays! Happy Easter everybody! Have a lush rest. I will be recuperating my health with plenty of rest to release the strain of my eyes.

P.S: I would also like to add that Adam is a very supportive tutor. He listens to me consistently and never fails to help me with his advice. I feel that someone who is able to sit down and listen to my stressful issues is a thing I cannot appreciate enough, and that I am immensely grateful about. Without him, I would have given up on this project due to the pressure and stress. Lastly, he also gave me a cream egg and told me document down my first experience. When I first bite into it, a load of white stuff came out and surprised me. It was very sweet and sugary and it tasted well! I give a 8/10.
