What Do You Give?... Hope..

Hey all,

After working till a late time at night, I came in with an incredibly exhausting look in my eyes, as if I am the living dead itself.. Nonetheless, our starter for today was to firstly develop our existing mind maps about the current unit. This is because the "Amazing Adam" wanted us to expand our intellectual knowledge on this particular matter to increase our overall reflection and thus, memory. Personally, I added what we recently covered in the theory side of the unit (assignment one). I believed this was an interesting starter and that we should partake this more often, this is because we can then reflect more and build up on our final mind maps that we will apparently be using eventually.

Afterwards, we then did some classroom discussions about claymation and stop motion. When doing this, we partly performed independent research about the small history about what it is, the impacts it does to animation today and some related artists. We also did the exact same for stop motion; we had the choice to make notes on this to aid our work. I believe this to be a good way of discussing and learning as it encourages other peers to develop soft skills to present and share information with everyone else. This activity is required to understand the assignment and hints me to what kind of content we will soon undertake.

Consequently, everyone continued to work on our U39A1 work. At my current stage, all I had left for Part 3: Animation was claymation and stop motion, therefore I finished that first and expanded on the details by using the notes we previously made. Whilst working independently, I also constantly referred to the distinction criteria to make sure I have not missed anything crucial. At the same time, I also tried to expand my vocabulary and the use of English terminologies to help enhance my explanations (a very nice girl inspired me to do this). Moving on, I then followed by completing all of the uses of webpage animations. In all fairness, I found this theory work fun but what made us all too worried is the deadline. Thank you to the "Amazing Adam", we got an extension to Monday 16th February 2015 instead, which gives us lots more time! This has relaxed us down a bit but nevertheless, I will attempt to finish everything by late Wednesday or early Thursday, this is because we will be covering new topics and I would like to focus my attention purely on that.

At the end of the day, we all got tired and most left early. However, I decided to keep working and stop at satisfactory level; I will continue working very soon. Overall today has been another intensive and focused day. As you can see the title of this blog, we were given hope from the "Amazing Adam". In addition to this, I find days like this very relaxing but it can also be stressful, but I like challenges on the other hand and this is one of those days which I very much enjoy.

Edit: I am the blogstar.
