So today I expected a similar day to yesterday when we cracked on intensely - oh boy it was! During this morning, we all firstly filled in the end of the questionnaire/survey for the unit. For me, I personally enjoyed this unit a lot because I had obtained a lot of intellectual knowledge for my own benefits that will allow me to understand the surroundings much more as we were all born into the world of technology. The unit was not too difficult but consumed a lot of my time due to the fact that I had no prior knowledge - throughout the weeks of this course I had combated this by doing lots of research independently to find more information regarding the matter. In the end I had not only improved my soft skills but also my knowledge overall, despite the fact that it isn't my strongest subject. In the end, I believe that this unit is only enjoyable because the "Amazing Adam" and "Jovial John" made it fun by giving us games, classroom discussions and team working activities instead of text books only.
When the first lesson started we had to create our mini self-assessment (a to-do list) for the day just like we had yesterday. I had set myself to complete all of A3 and submit it before the start of self-study time (which I have) - I feel a strong sense of completion and I believe looking back, I can see my footsteps from A to B. So going back within the day, I firstly downloaded the observation sheet the "Amazing Adam" sent us all individually and sorted out all of my files in my documents for easier access. A few minutes after, I then worked on the last piece of U10A3T1 where I had to use the screenshots I dumped yesterday and expanded on how I connected to a network using Wi-Fi. This was relatively easy and I had enjoyed being assessed as it shows the amount of confidence we have on a 1 to 1.
Soon later, I started and ended up completing U10A3T2 - where I had to assess the choice of wireless or wired network for the investment in the infrastructure by a company. I did this by giving an overall introduction then a description of wired and wireless network - followed up by its strengths and weaknesses and how it does so. At the end, I gave a conclusion which I won't go into due to its excessive detail. The point I am trying to make is that I had managed to keep to my self-assessment and prioritized my work load effectively.
At the end of the day, I went through my checklist and submitted A3 (the last assignment) altogether to the "Amazing Adam". If I have any specific small parts missing, I will be adding and improving the work as much as possible when work is received back. For now, I am making wonderful progress and I am feeling proud of myself after all of the efforts we as a class have went through. All that remains is independent and outstanding work from "Zoetic Zoe" and "Jovial John". I thank every tutor for their hard work as well as their ability to not die from marking my work, hehe (thug lyfe).
Overall today was a fantastic day once again - most students finished, submitted and thus left early. However I required the whole day but this has allowed me to yet again expand to a higher level. Let the new unit for Thursday begin! And oh.. P.S: Brandon's quiz is not looking so well as he stated he's so excited...
