Uncomplicated Straightforward Friday!

Hey all!

Today was an amazing Friday. In the morning, everyone continued with their work. For me, it was very straight forward as all I needed to do was make changes to improve my presentations. This is for the work of A2T1, which is about the readability of code. At the end, I managed to make the changes and I resent it to "Zoetic Zoe". I also helped others around me as a duty of head boy to make sure they're not stuck. Afterwards, other people like Brandon B and Ashley P has also caught up to my stage - therefore we printed off our presentations and practiced presenting them in a separate room.

When presenting in the room, I devised a plan to keep the body language good, hand gestures appropriate and to use a variety of tones within the voice as well as a range of vocabularies. We took turns and we didn't put any pressure on each other by allowing each other to read off the paper if needed. Brandon B and Ashley P did really well, although some parts were improvised, this means that there are improvements. When I presented mine, it lasted the longest out of us - this is because I am have explained everything in depth to my audience as they have no prior knowledge according to the Scheme of Learning. However, timing is an attribute I can manage and therefore improve over the weekend. At the start of lunch, Brandon B wanted to and presented his presentation. So myself, Ashley P, and "Zoetic Zoe" reviewed his presentation and made notes. It is a good idea to get it out of the way since the criteria for this is only a pass but I would like to improve because I believe these skills will be reused in the future, during at work and adulthood.

Furthermore, I have completed everything within the first half of the day. I wanted to stay longer but I decided to go home at an appropriate time (14:30pm) since that is when self-study begins and the majority leaves so I won't set a bad example for the rest as head boy, although others who has finished left without hesitation. Whilst doing so, I used this time to practice my personal drawing skills as a hobby, write this blog, and create the meme's of the day. Moreover, I played DJ hero with Brandon on Xbox although lunch has ended because we have no other work., heh.

Overall, this Friday was a success and I really enjoyed today mainly because it was very relaxed. Kudos to everyone and "Zoetic Zoe" for making the task so straightforward. Have an awesome weekend.
