A change was made in the mornings, that we will not be attending on Friday so the BTEC Level 2 students can have their induction days completed which made the third day at Develop focusing; the class continued the quest of finishing the first assignment. With the "Amazing Adam" rephrasing the instructions, we grasped a stronger understanding of the task (Pass 1, Merit 1) - this allowed us to concentrate throughout the day and make extensive progress. Moreover, we improved on the comprehension of referencing and bibliography for everything, this includes text reference embedded into text, images, websites and more using the reference guide.
Today was another successful day, classmates started to speak and open up more, allowing the silence to disappear. After lunch, we were taught Distinction 1's criteria, which we used vocabularies such as evaluating and analysis to help our final part of the assignment. Thanks to the "Amazing Adam", we compared similar and or different output mediums such as the Oculus Rift & Project Morpheus. This boosted my intelligence of the understanding of the task and therefore I made big amendments to my planning. This has increased my confidence comprehensively and gave me an adrenaline-full of determination.
Lastly, the whole class played around with Illustrator CS6, converting bitmap images to vector images, using gradient tool to colour parts we drew via pen tool. I have briefly scratched the surface on the world of Illustrator, and an epic adventure awaits me.
