Induction Days

The last two induction days has been superb. It had a range of activities that stimulated a variety of aspects, helping teamwork and the build of social bonds between us students. Activities included learning the formats and track changes on Microsoft Word, surveying each other on Survey Monkey to help understand each other more, and by creating a Blogger account, which will allow us to communicate and interact more with everyone else. It is a brilliant start!

The students are kind, there was no inappropriate behavior and I believe that the classmates would end up being good acquaintances towards another. Teamwork in the activities has broken the silence between us and allowed us to be more open. Additionally, the tutors here are creative and understandable, constantly referring to things and reminding us of important tasks to ensure we have a good understanding of the situation. However, I would like help in learning the basics of new software and programs that I have never encountered, and would hope that the ones I have a good intellect on would be installed eventually.

In conclusion, the second day at Develop was a success and I have already learnt a lot of convenient things in life, whether it is educational or for personal purposes - which definitely leads to the path of success in the world of work. I look forward to starting the first unit on Monday and to be able to apply and learn new technological skills.
